Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in Reading, Pennsylvania

Description We are in search of a Help Desk Analyst I based in Reading, Pennsylvania. As part of our team, you will be providing technical assistance to our system users, answering inquiries, resolving computer problems, and maintaining daily records of data communication transactions. This role is an integral part of our system integration efforts and will involve answering phones and working through a ticket queue.

Responsibilities:

• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems

• Install software or perform hardware testing remotely, when necessary

• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors

• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, and remedial actions taken, or installation activities

• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support

• Provide dedicated support for the system integration between Rentokil and Terminix

• Work through a ticket queue to address and resolve technical issues

• Provide both Level 1 and Level 2 support to users

• Use skills in Active Directory, Google Suite, PC Hardware, Password Reset, and Technical Support to effectively perform job functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Active Directory and Google Suite

• Experience in PC Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance

• Ability to perform Password Resets in a timely and efficient manner

• Solid background in providing Technical Support to end-users

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

• Customer-oriented and patient demeanor
