The TARI (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Impact) team enables all employees to do their best work and to ensure Microsoft remains an Exceptional Place to Work.  This team is responsible for global talent acquisition, global and executive compensation programs, global benefits and mobility, and performance & development.  This team works in a very matrixed way, collaborating with other centers of excellence and business partners within and outside of HR.   

We are looking for a highly motivated and collaborative individual to fill the role of Global Senior Human Resources Change Manager supporting the TARI organization. It is ideal if candidates have knowledge and experience in most of the following: change management, writing, Human Resources, project management, consulting, leadership facilitation, conflict resolution, and collaboration.  Success in this role means that you must be able to think strategically at a global level and effectively assess change management requirements, develop change management strategies and plans (including stakeholder analysis and engagement planning, audience impact assessment and readiness planning) and execute on those plans by driving stakeholder engagement, developing communications, developing training and readiness materials, and building and managing a project plan. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination and effective influencing at all levels, and the ability to manage high volume, high impact work on short deadlines. Responsibilities

Change Design and Orchestration

  • Leads the creation of the change strategy and plan, creates communication plans, and implements plans to land changes to TARI programs. Partners across teams to engage internal stakeholders and audiences, evaluate results, and identifies improvement opportunities.

  • Drives changes while creating conditions and motivations for change, and facilitates information sharing of change through various tools and employee platforms.

  • Owns and drive change management project plan, engages support from vendors to support assest creation, content development and change management support where required. Partners across the Microsoft ecosystem to drive change readiness of HR teams, leaders, managers and employees.

  • Develop and write high-quality content for various channels and audiences, including executive communications, presentations, emails, and web content.

Assesment & Analysis for Change Management

  • Shares and receives information on the status of the business/project/program (e.g., financial statements, recruiting data, project eco system) with and from peers in other disciplines to acquire a greater understanding of the organizational system and how it fits within the broader business and technology industry. Collects and analyzes metrics to measure organizational performance.

  • Leads the application of change impact assessment and stakeholder anaylsis both qualitative and quantitative. Synthesizes information to identify insights and make recommendations for the program and project implementation. Participates in efforts to evolve measurements and tools.

  • Engages with business leaders throughout the organization to gather data and validate change impact assessment. Partners with peers in other disciplines on other organizational diagnostics, analysis, interpretation, and presentation techniques. Reports organizational diagnosis results to senior leadership.

  • Partners with peer disciplines to identify gaps, conflicts, and misalignments in the execution of change management plans. Provides perspective and recommendations for correction to achieve strategic objectives.

Strategy Clarity and Alignment

  • Applies an understanding of business goals, gaps, and opportunities to guide the discussion and action of leadership teams in translating, applying, and aligning strategy for a division, region, or client.

  • Develops monitoring and analysis techniques to measure the clarity and alignment of strategy, and provides insight to the division, region, or client.

  • Partners and coaches sernior leaders, providing subject matter expertise and advice on the course of action required

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Experience in Organization Development, HR, Change Management, or related experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or related field AND experience in Organization Development, HR, , or related experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

Master's Degree or higher in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, Business, or related field. Experience in Consulting, Program Design, Organizational Design, Strategic Planning/Execution, and/or Change Management.
