As an Engineering Intern you will have the opportunity to assist with the design, analysis, testing and certification of composite radomes and structures working on a number of aircraft programs at various stages in the design and certification process.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Procurement and HS&E to develop products from the design phase through to production.

Rate of Pay: $24 per hour

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop CAD models and drawings for part manufacturing

  • Assist with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews and support first article manufacturing including the development of manufacturing work instructions

  • Create test plans and support test events in support of aircraft certification activities

  • Assist with material certification digitalization goals

  • Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Engineering (e.g., Aerospace, Mechanical, etc.)

  • Experience with CAD and FEA software packages (CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, Abaqus etc.)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
