The position is engaged during discovery conversations to explore the business needs and determine solutions to meet those needs; identifying the right technology capabilities, engaging the right partners, ideate/hypothesize, market research, executing a test & learn, and finally, deliver solutions.

You will take responsibility for one or more of following scope areas:

  • Role is responsible for Large Molecule manufacturing IT technology

  • Responsible for defining the technology vision in alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • The candidate partners with business and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, identify appropriate technology solutions, define the right application landscape, and influence and drive the solutions with product owners.

  • Liaison and acts as the end-to-end Technology SME

  • The successful candidate will also review the relevant business drivers and strategies, understanding and highlighting the implications for the corresponding applications and platforms. In addition, this leader will partner with other technology functions and architects to ensure alignment and bring solutions to bear that can be flexible and quickly drive value and insights in a common J&J language across Supply Chain.

  • Drive technology products standardization and strategies to drive best in class design, design consistency, UI/UX engineering, Persona based design ensuring architecture is scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems that meet the needs of our customers and business partners.

  • Supports Product Group Leader’s application rationalization goal and ALM/TLM responsibility.

  • Collaborate with product management, design, non-functional requirement, and other cross-functional technology teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions. Integrate data analytics components, IA, Automation into software architecture to enable data-driven decision-making and enhance user experiences.

  • Establish technology roadmaps, support Delivery and deployments to achieve cost efficiency, optimization, effective delivery of business & customer value.

  • Defines the solution and design for the current and new platform applications and supports the evolution of that solution as the platform is deployed at segment or region. Champions and communicates the end state system design to business, BUIT Segment leaders and Shared Services teams, associating the implication of the reference architecture or design to objectives/drivers/goals.

  • Mentor and develop technical talent, providing coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities for team members.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, external collaboration, Industry trends, and best practices in software engineering, architecture, and data analytics.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence by establishing partnership with Architecture and Design governance team.

  • Analyze current technologies used within the segment and develop steps and processes to improve.

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills

  • Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements.

  • In-depth knowledge of SCOR & DCM SC modeling and responsible for business capabilities to technology mapping.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant IT strategic work experience

  • Proven expertise in creating IT solutions

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills

  • Experience with Business agility, Agile delivery with a fail-fast attitude, and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals/Healthcare industry

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 to $244,950.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
