Position Summary:
Reporting to the Project Manager or his/her designee, the Dishwasher is responsible for performing food service support in an environment which provides people who have different abilities opportunities to work with integrated teams and receive work support as neededachieving the highest level of independence possible.\ \ Washes dishes at the assigned site. Operates the dish washing machine and washes pots and pans by hand. May be assigned to clean and sanitize work areas and equipment used. Contributes to teamwork by training and helping co-workers, communicating needs to the supervisor, and implementing feedback for improvement. Performs duties with a special focus on safety, quality, and customer service.\ \ Shift: Full-Time, Days, Nights, weekends included\ Pay Rate: \$14.25\ Location: Rantoul, Illinois\ \ Job Duties:
1. Wash Dishes: Load and unload dishes into sink or dish washing machine. Operate dish washing machine as instructed. Wash pots and pans by hand or run through a pots and pans machine if available.
2. Quality: Maintain cleanliness and product standards of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. May be assigned to clean and sanitize equipment used and work areas.
3. Trash Removal: Safely removes and disposes of trash and packaging containers after meal service.
4. Work Area Maintenance: Clean work areas and equipment. Follow all sanitization guidelines. Sweep and mop clipper and pots and pans areas. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stove, and refrigerator. Assist with performing daily, weekly, and/or monthly deep cleaning of the kitchen, service area, and kitchen equipment such as counters, tables, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, mixers, mobile carts, etc. if/as assigned. Help set up/tear down service area chairs and tables as needed.
5. Employee Relations: Perform work according to the contracts statement of work, company policies, and procedures with a special focus on safety, quality, and customer service. Follow schedules and/or task assignments as directed. Help communicate job expectations to new-hires or others in need of assistance. Assist with helping co-workers as needed. Report issues and needs to Project Manager. Implement feedback for improvement. Assist with building an effective company culture that embodies our Company values to achieve optimum performance levels and achieve goals and objectives.
Position Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Experience: Past work experience in any field.
Certifications/Licenses: Currently possess or be able to obtain Food Handlers Certificate (training is provided by Company and must be succes\ \
