As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for providing proactive leadership and expertise that promotes our safety culture, working closely with our Corporate Safety/Loss Control Manager. This includes all required documentation. Lead incident analysis process/reporting and manage open claims closure. Conduct plant inspections, maintain all inspection records and ensure any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are immediately addressed. Organize and ensure initial and ongoing required/related safety training. Participate in new hire orientations. Budget, purchase and maintain Personal Protective Equipment. Build and maintain the location\'s safety management system (SMS). Maintain and keep the OSHA 300 log up to date. Post required summary report and complete yearly electronic filing. Send in annual SARA title III report on hazardous chemicals stored on site. Ensure that the monthly safety numbers report and safety action correction plan is updated and entered monthly.
