Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our innovative team. You will work on building industry-leading robotic automation and material handling equipment. This role requires the ability to read and interpret machine drawings, schematics, and bills of materials to proficiently build and problem solve where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Use machine drawings, assembly drawings, control schematics, and relevant bills of materials to build according to specifications and solve problems as needed.

  • Perform wiring tasks and work with control panels.

  • Engage in reducing or eliminating non-value-added work throughout the organization.

  • Utilize hand tools to perform structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly.

  • Ensure quality workmanship, neatness, and efficiency in all tasks.

  • Complete quality assurance checks for the Blue Books.

  • Provide accurate documentation including labor reporting, material issue/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.

  • Execute inventory re-ordering policies, including Kanban.

  • Prepare equipment for shipment, including machine teardown.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in Electrical Assembly

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics

  • Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly

  • Ability to use hand and power tools

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with tape measures and general labor tasks

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Good documentation skills

Work Environment

This position is on the 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:30 AM with a 30-minute lunch break. Voluntary overtime may be available on Fridays or Saturdays, with the potential for involuntary overtime communicated on Mondays. You will work in a very clean and well-lit facility, often in groups of 2-6 assemblers, using Milwaukee tools. Candidates may be required to work on platforms 20 ft high and 70 ft long.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randolph, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50
