May Institute Human Resources Generalist in Randolph, Massachusetts

May Institute is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to manage a range of HR operations for our adult services doing aMAYzing work by supporting approximately 300 employees. Qualifications This is a great opportunity for someone to join an organization with a much larger mission. and have the opportunity to grow and work on larger HR projects and initiatives. Please note this is an in-person position 4 days a week with the option of 1 remote day. Facilitate the onboarding process to include processing new hire paperwork, conduct new hire orientation, and maintaining personnel files Process exiting employees to include preparing and presenting separation paperwork, processing the separation in the HRIS system, and conducting exit interviews. Maintain a complete understanding of the benefits package, including structure, cost, eligibility, and enrollment processes. Manage open enrollment for the center annually and assist in answering employee questions Train employees and managers on the HRIS system (Dayforce). Process benefits and payroll paperwork for new and existing employees. Communicate personnel changes that may affect payroll and paid time off Advise and counsel staff when concerns arise, ensuring consistent and fair practices throughout the program. Conduct workplace investigations as needed and make recommendations (in conjunction with corporate HR) to managers regarding disciplinary action Educate and manage processes for employees and managers on their rights under Workers Compensation, FMLA, and other covered and protected leaves. Work with corporate HR to manage LOAs. Track and help schedule compliance training and recertifications. Represent the Center for unemployment hearings Help prepare for licensing and audit reviews. Participate in leadership and HR meetings. Create and promote best practices in reducing staff turnover and boosting morale. Bachelor?s degree in a related field SHRM or PHR Certification preferred Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience Good working knowledge of MA labor and employment laws and practices Attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
