Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Description

We are currently hiring for a heavy equipment operator to tackle jobs in/near the south shore. We are based out of Weymouth, MA but will have jobs that range all over the south shore. The ideal candidate for our team would have at least 5 years of heavy equipment operator skills, a valid 2A1C, and a reliable and accountable attitude. We mainly run excavators, loaders, and dozers which are all large pieces of equipment (no minis). You MUST have water and sewer utility experience. Please apply below as we will be holding interviews in office in the coming days. Pay rate will be $35-$43 an hour with room to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Operate large equipment such as dozers, front end loaders, and excavators.

  • Assist the field team with various tasks when not operating machinery.

  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.

  • Follow safety protocols and site regulations.

  • Pay Rate: $35 - $45 depending on skill level.

Essential Skills

  • MA 2A-1C license

  • 5+ years of experience operating large equipment

  • Proficiency in operating excavators, front end loaders, and large dozers

  • Water, Sewer, and Drainage

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to travel up to an hour

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with civil site work

  • Knowledge of earthworks and construction site operations
