Description
Emily Krous at Robert Half is working with a client who is in search of a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator. The role is based in the industry where meticulous attention to detail is a must. As a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator, you will be tasked with the management and processing of payroll, coordination of company benefits and ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
• Taking responsibility for benefits management, including conducting orientation and information sessions for new hires and existing employees.
• Coordinating the processing of new hires and terminations, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Managing and maintaining records related to worker’s compensation claims.
• Collaborating with medical providers, insurers, and legal professionals to manage claims and ensure their timely resolution.
• Analyzing workers' compensation data for trends and recommending improvements to safety and claims management practices.
• Ensuring the company is following policy, provides guidance, and counseling as necessary.
• Maintaining accurate and complete records related to benefits.
• Overseeing the administration of COBRA, FMLA, and other leave programs.
• Maintaining accurate and complete employee files for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator or similar role in HR.
• Proficient knowledge of Paychex software is essential.
• Familiarity with Benefits Payroll is a must.
• Ability to coordinate benefits packages and administer payroll.
