Summary About the position: This position is located at the Ramstein Community Center, Ramstein AB, Germany. This position does not offer logistical support. The primary purpose of this position is to perform and/or assists other recreation assistants or specialist in the operation and maintenance of the community center facilities. Responsibilities Takes incoming calls; files information regarding center's operation and activities, issues and accounts for supplies and equipment given out to customers. Takes payments and registration for planned events, classes, and room reservations using point of sales cash register. Assist in program planning and set-up as described by the program specialist. Maintains centers cleanliness and ensures information posted is current and up to date. Checks for safety hazards and secures building using the closing checklist. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
