What User Experience Design contributes to Cardinal Health
Commercial Technologies manages the enterprise's portfolio of commercial technologies to maximize the business value of the technologies and enhance the customer experience. This function creates strategies for the portfolio and innovative solutions based on relationships with business leaders, develops back-end solutions and capabilities, and improves the front-end experience.
User Experience Design creates intuitive digital interfaces that meet business objectives, make it easy for a user and/or customer to accomplish their intended task(s) and deliver a high-level of customer satisfaction when engaging with the company online.
Job Summary
The Cardinal Health Pharma eCommerce team is looking for a User Experience Designer will lead the design of digital products that take our digital products to the future and beyond. We are looking for a passionate designer and team player who will be part of a massive digital transformation effort. For this role you will be helping to solve problems across multiple platforms to align without new digital experience. The UX Designer will be responsible for imagining future-proof usable and desirable digital experiences for mobile apps and responsive web and have the capability to clearly communicate ideas at a broad level to bring these experiences to life from beginning to end and anywhere in-between.
Essential functions:
The End-to-End Product/UX Designer will help uncover and define user needs, build out workflows, construct the information architecture, create layouts, define taxonomy, build interactions, or create any relevant UX artifact as needed. The UX designer will design detailed creative assets for both written and visual content roughly 25-35% of the time. The User Experience Designer will work directly with the entire product team in their respective cross-functional work teams to prioritize and specify features to deliver great new experiences. This role may be required to work with an offshore team daily at early morning hours or late evening hours – whatever works best for you.

Responsibilities
Know your stuff and know you have room to grow
Have a portfolio of your work that demonstrates your deep understanding of human centered product design alongside UX best practices and standards.
Highly collaborative while remaining an advocate for user focused experiences
Consider UX as your north star but can also make sound decisions for visual designs and UX writing.
Understanding on how to problem solve and design with robust databases in mind.
Can be nimble and like to work on multiple projects at once.
Have created, defended (professionally) and delivered many or all of the following and more:
Create very detailed low and high-fidelity wireframes, sitemaps, taxonomies, user flows, journey maps, and annotated screen interaction specifications
Visual designs and mock-ups (secondary to your Rockstar UX skills)
Understand the nuances between mobile platforms and responsive and adaptive design.
Over communicate but don’t overshare.
Able to embrace change and thrive in an ever-evolving team environment.
Have actively participated in whiteboard sessions with your teams in digital user experience design including mobile apps and responsive web design.
Have worked in an agile or iterative work setting and enjoy co-locating with your entire team.
Have worked in virtual teams.
Love learning new things and challenging yourself.
Don’t mind working early or late hours with offshore teams, as needed.
Don’t mind traveling at times to get to know your customers (10%)
Have excellent storytelling skills- Having created and presented your work to upper management, stakeholders and other business partners in a consumable and enjoyable manner.
Can help evangelize human-centric design methodologies and the purpose across the division.
Know what Atomic Design is and how it relates to your work
Have a working knowledge of how design works when coded regarding any interface or device to enable your creative execution of desirable and usable user interactions.
Designing for accessibility training
Qualifications
4-8 years of experience preferred
Working knowledge of Figma preferred
Axure and Power point experience preferred
FED development capability preferred

Anticipated salary range: $79,700 - $119,490
