The Opportunity

The Supply Chain Operations Transformation Director will lead a team of transformation professionals to drive the growth, development, and achievement of Supply Chain’s strategic imperatives related to: * Process Improvement, * Technology Upgrades, * Reporting & Analytics, * Data Transformation, * Strategic Project Execution, and * Governance and Change Management

As the Supply Chain Operations Transformation Director, you will partner with key Supply Chain Operations business customers, program leads, and Product Managers to achieve Supply Chain’s transformational needs.

Supply Chain Operations is inclusive of Accounts Payables, Vendor Maintenance, Fleet Management, Travel & Entertainment (T&E), Contingent Labor, Supplier Diversity, and Third Party Risk & Controls programs.

The Supply Chain Operations Transformation Director will be accountable for leveraging their expertise to transform and improve business processes, drive efficiency, enable organizational change, and adapt to evolving market and industry conditions leading to best-in-class results.

The Work Itself

  • Position reports to the Head of Supply Chain Transformation and will lead a team of supply chain transformation professionals responsible for identifying, driving, and executing Supply Chain Operations program transformational initiatives
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing Supply Chain Operations business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive Supply Chain Operations business transformation and achieve desired outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful execution of transformation initiatives
  • Optimize existing Supply Chain technology stack by identifying functionality gaps and inefficiencies, and implementing enhancements in partnership with Product Management
  • Execute effective change management to ensure full business and enterprise adoption of transformation initiatives
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive the creation and prioritization of activities on the transformation roadmap
  • Manage and execute transformational projects on behalf of Supply Chain Operations customers, driving them to a successful resolution
  • Utilize Product Managers when applicable to execute technical aspects of transformation initiatives
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders at all levels of the organization to support decision-making and facilitate change management
  • Design and implement performance measurement systems (KPIs) to track progress and evaluate the effectiveness of Supply Chain Operations transformation initiatives
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees' understanding and adoption of new processes and systems
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the transformation strategy
  • Create and maintain a team culture of transparency, collaboration, continuous improvement and risk management that encourages innovation, integrity, and teamwork

The Skills You Bring

  • Minimum of 7 years of Supply Chain / Procurement experience with demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Operations and Third Party Risk subject matter within the financial industry
  • Experience executing major Supply Chain / Procurement transformational initiatives, preferably with leading financial services institutions or consulting firms, inclusive of process improvement, technology upgrades, and data transformation within Supply Chain Operations programs using six sigma methodology such as DMAIC framework, value stream mapping, and Kaizen
  • Extensive experience with e-procurement and third party risk systems and platforms (preferably Coupa and Archer) and the ability to drive digital transformation within Supply Chain processes
  • Experience in utilizing AI to enrich Supply Chain programs
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA strongly preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required
  • Be able to define the proposed value proposition or ROI of recommended changes
  • Proven track record of effectively leading teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Advanced analytical ability to develop, analyze and present complex cost models, business cases, and strategic plans
  • Proficiency in business and industry analysis, financial analysis, conflict management, decision making, and strategic thinking
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications inclusive of Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must possess very strong influence and individual communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic business environment with ability to seamlessly balance competing priorities and customers
  • Demonstrate ability to consistently and effectively manage large projects while delivering industry-leading results under minimum supervision
  • Demonstrate agility, disposition, and ability to handle very difficult situations with customers and partners
  • Ability to organize data and exercise highly effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build extremely strong relationships with internal business partners and experience working with multiple business partners in a collaborative and team-oriented manner

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
