Catalyst Clinical Research LLC Project Finance Analyst II in Raleigh, North Carolina
As a Project Finance Analyst II you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of projects through timely and accurate reporting of revenue and costs for an assigned portfolio of projects. You will partner with cross-functional teams to create accurate invoicing and forecasting. You will maintain analyses and metrics for reporting to management. Work will be in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you use creative techniques to solve problems and address challenges raised by project teams, clients, and management.
Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Work directly with project leads to understand and report current project status to leadership.
Identify issues related to contract amendments, values, or deliverables.
Analyze operational project data as it pertains to relevant financial metrics for reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Work with project leads to report revenue actuals and forecast
Prepare and distribute monthly invoices and financial reporting packages to clients and internal leadership.
Perform account reconciliations for relevant project finance GL accounts
Perform regular profitability and cash flow analyses on assigned projects.
Work with project leads to forecast contractor spend
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or another related field
Experience :
2-4 years of relevant experience in operational/project finance role
Background in Clinical Research, specifically in Oncology is preferred.
Experience in invoicing, collections, and project analysis
Experience in revenue and cost recognition
Experience in project accounting
Required Skills :
Skilled in entire MS Office Suite
Advanced in Excel
Ability to organize and present data in a meaningful way
Enhanced communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with cross-functional teams
Background in accounting preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
