Job Title: Production Scheduler

Job Description

The Production Scheduler plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the production processes within our manufacturing facility. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong mechanical knowledge and experience in factory settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that assembly line operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while collaborating with various teams to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and Warehouse leaders to develop a master schedule to achieve delivery commitments.

  • Develop a master schedule to achieve delivery commitments.

  • Recognize and correct errors on work tickets.

  • Participate and contribute to process improvement efforts.

  • Utilize ERP and internal systems for production planning.

  • Analyze forecasts and long-term orders.

  • Set target stock levels.

  • Research to make production processes more efficient.

  • Organize Work Tickets for quick access and accurate scheduling.

  • Respond to Sales department requests for updated ship dates.

  • Adjust production schedules in response to interruptions.

  • Schedule usage of production materials for optimal levels.

  • Monitor material supply flow and identify shortages or bottlenecks.

Essential Skills

  • Planning and production scheduling experience.

  • Experience with ERP systems.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse environment.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to assemble products using various tools.

  • Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and fabrication processes.

  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing company.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, etc.

The role is on-site in Raleigh M-F

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $65000.00
