Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced individual with a passion for Enterprise Asset Management in the utility industry. The ideal candidate will excel in collaborating with customers, sales/pre-sales, system integrators and software development teams. As part of a small, global team, the Product Manager will oversee one or more areas of the Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM) suite, handling strategy, execution, go-to-market and customer success initiatives.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Product Direction: Set the product vision and define the roadmap for the WAM product by researching market needs and customer issues, prioritizing enhancements to meet market requirements effectively.
Specifications & Requirements: Gather and document detailed business requirements and product specifications.
Product Development Oversight: Review designs and monitor development through sprint reviews to ensure alignment with requirements.
UX Collaboration: Collaborate with UX designers to ensure a human-centric approach in product development and enhance the overall user experience.
Documentation Creation: Assist in creating product documentation, marketing materials, and training for functional and configuration purposes.
Sales Enablement: Educate global sales/pre-sales teams on new product capabilities and releases.
Sales Support: Provide assistance for strategic sales efforts, including responding to RFPs and participating in sales demonstrations.
Customer Collaboration: Work with customers during product implementation to ensure successful deployment and establish reference accounts.
Partner Support: Support implementation partners in developing product expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.
Innovation Drive: Lead solution innovation efforts focused on reducing implementation costs and enhancing market competitiveness.
Industry Engagement: Interact with industry analysts and promote thought leadership in asset management at trade shows.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience with Enterprise Asset Management applications, such as Oracle WAM, Maximo, Infor EAM, or SAP PM.
Experience in the utilities sector (Electric, Gas, or Water/Wastewater).
Understanding of various Work and Asset Management best practices and thought leadership.
Familiarity with application areas such as GIS, Supply Chain, ERP, Mobile Workforce Management, Customer Care, and Billing, and how they functionally integrate with Work and Asset Management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Multiples years of Customer-facing experiences such as implementing software or pre-sales. Customer-first attitude, going beyond to make implementation successful.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player capable of aligning with larger team goals and adapting as necessary.
Proven ability to take ownership of deliverables and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure success.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the Transmission & Distribution, Construction Work Management, and Utilities accounting.
Knowledge of Utilities Asset Performance Management and Asset Investment Planning.
Global experience is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile development processes.
Experience working with remote teams.

US: Hiring Range: from $114,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
