Novant Health Orthopedic Clinical Supervisor in Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Summary

In partnership with the Clinic Administrator, ensures implementation and success of NHMG goals, organizes, and directs the clinical environment, and coordinates teams to assure effective care is given to provide quality patient care in physician practices. Supervises between 10 and 19 FTEs. The orthopedic clinical supervisor serves as a leader of the orthopedic healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to collect data, plan, implement, delegate, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health and takes ownership in creating an environment that allows team members to be present with patients and families. The orthopedic clinical supervisor utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. The orthopedic clinical supervisor accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures. The orthopedic clinical supervisor provides feedback and evaluates team continuously to monitor appropriate team members for positions and promotes team member and patient satisfaction. Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine or Related Degree Program, required. Graduate Degree in Athletic Training or Sports Medicine or Related Degree Program, preferred.

  • Experience: 2 years of Certified Athletic Training Experience within a Clinic Setting, required. 2 years of Supervisory Experience, preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, ATC, NATABOC Certification; required. NCBATE licensed or eligible, required.

  • Additional Skills Required: Excellent human relation skills, possess effective oral and written communication skills, possess leadership and problem-solving skills, operate personal computer. Ability to successfully complete leader education and training.
