As an LFL, youll lead and guide a dedicated team of 6-12 technical staff, ensuring top-notch landscape quality, safety, and training on best practices. Key responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to: Advise the team on landscape management tasks, frequencies, and quality standards Evaluate site conditions to identify pest and disease issues, providing input to the Landscape Zone Superintendent (LZS) Offer advice and technical assistance on best horticultural practices Implement departmental initiatives such as Work Well, sustainability programs, and turf and chemical reduction Serve as a training resource within the unit, providing input and direction to Superintendents, Managers, and landscape architects on the needs and special requirements of the assigned area Oversee related equipment, implementing and sustaining the use of electric-powered equipment Act as a working lead, assisting with all daily activities Serve as a backup to the Zone Manager or assist with other areas as needed
