Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of an Elevance Health PulsePoint location. The candidate will be required to work EST hours.

The Financial Accountant is responsible for reconciling monthly inventory schedules, assisting with balancing inventory accounts to the General Ledger, and providing support in various inventory- related tasks.

How you will make an impact:

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assists with monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.

• Prepares accounting report schedules, monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Reviews and verifies accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records.

• Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 1-2 years directly related experience preferred.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Advanced Excel experience.

• Strong communication skills
