About the role
The main focus of this role will be to manage and co-ordinate internal and customer-focused data center change management, ensuring the smooth implementation and administration of change management for operations, projects and customer interactions in the data center environment. This co-ordination and management will be covering both the mechanical & electrical infrastructure as well as IT Technology Services. A key aspect of the role is presenting and providing concise details of the change to the relevant stakeholders of the business. This role is key in ensuring that changes within the data center environment are managed and coordinated following the defined process, whilst ensuring all reviews and approvals are complete before execution of the works. This works ensures a key part of the operations is maintained contributing to the reliability of data center services.
What You'll Do
Co-ordination, management and administration of the Change Management Process and Tools
Helpdesk management for any issues, problems, enhancements etc. of the Change Requests, Process and Tools
Ensure all account KPI’s related to Change Management are met
Ensures administrative works are completed accurately and on time
Provide training and support to the relevant teams on the change management processes and tools
Ensure all changes comply with the correct processes and procedures
Co-ordinate planning, scheduling of the changes with a focus on minimizing risk and disruption to services.
Comply with the structured change management processes and procedures.
Attend regular role specific meetings in order to share best practice.
Attend and participate in any relevant training courses.
Facilitate discussion and coordination among stakeholders across the company to ensure the Change Management Process is completed with all reviews and approvals in place before execution.
Focus on continual process improvement by scoping tool improvements, utilizing data analytics to improve key performance metrics, and partnering with cross functional teams to optimize outcomes.
Coordinate Change Management reviews and approvals for execution of works in the Data Center Environment
Support and provide required information and detail for any audits
What you’ll need
Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
Knowledge of or experience in management and administration of defined processes and tools
Strong attention to detail
Soft skills relating to gaining business buy in/stakeholder management, relationship building.
Technical knowledge: good knowledge of processes and program management
Desire to learn and displays willingness and enthusiasm to learn and be guided by others
Effective communication skills with the experience to drive consensus when necessary.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with stakeholders from different backgrounds.
Knowledge and understanding of data center infrastructure and operations.
