Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Concrete Project Manager to lead our review of contracts and scope of work for each project. The ideal candidate will manage all financial aspects, perform accurate and timely quantity takeoffs, and maintain professional relationships with clients. This role involves developing and maintaining updated project schedules, representing the company in meetings, processing sales agreements and subcontracts, reviewing shop drawings and project changes, and ensuring a safe work environment and quality standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Review contracts and scope of work for each project.

  • Manage all financial aspects of each project.

  • Perform accurate, thorough, and timely quantity takeoffs from construction documents/plans using relevant software.

  • Manage the workload accurately and sufficiently as related to the contracted scope of work.

  • Maintain a professional relationship with clients and ensure clear and consistent communication.

  • Develop and maintain updated and accurate schedules for each project.

  • Represent the company in meetings with General Contractors.

  • Work well with assigned Project Superintendents to ensure the correct execution of work.

  • Process and issue sales agreements and subcontracts.

  • Develop and maintain fair and professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors.

  • Fully review all shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and project changes for each project.

  • Accurately capture each change and provide a full detailed account as required for additional cost pricing.

  • Ensure a safe work environment and maintain quality standards.

  • Assist and track quantities of supplied materials to all projects.

  • Prepare complete concrete proposals including all required documentation for submission.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates and proposals.

Essential Skills

  • Project management experience

  • Concrete construction management experience

  • Commercial construction knowledge

  • Experience with concrete, rebar, and concrete slabs/finishing

  • Ability to manage change orders

  • Experience with multifamily and industrial projects

  • Construction management and project coordination

  • Superior communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project

  • Experience with construction programs such as Timberline and PlanSwift

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar field, or an Associate's degree with relevant job experience

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience from a subcontractor’s perspective

  • Proven track record in the successful management of project cost, schedule, safety, and quality

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00
