The Role:

In 2024 the Certara unified its commercial team. The unified commercial org now has a need to receive strategic financial guidance to continue to fuel company growth.

The Sr. Financial Analyst will report into the Director of Commercial Finance and will have immediate exposure with senior finance & commercial leadership teams. The role has substantial opportunity to expand over-time as the company continues to grow.

Own the commission calculations & expense model for the commercial team

Build ad-hoc financial frameworks to assist with strategic decision making within the commercial organization

Build and automate reports that collect and connect data from multiple business systems

Support the monthly/quarterly business cadence by developing standard close procedures, financial information outputs, and presentation material.

Develop viewpoints on business performance and communicate suggestions to enhance company growth to the executive team

Work in tandem with the Director of Commercial Finance to move the organization to future stages of growth.

Work directly with the corporate FP&A team to build board materials and distill complex financial information into succinct actions and insights. Qualifications

Education, Experience, Training, and Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

3-4 years of professional relevant experience in accounting, corporate finance, or strategic finance business partnership

Corporate FP&A experience is a plus.

High proficiency in excel/PowerPoint and other MS products
