TEKsystems Senior Systems Administrator in Radnor, Pennsylvania

Job Summary :

Working closely with and under the direction of the Director, Infrastructure Services, the Systems Administrator is responsible for administration, management & support of Aramsco’s IT infrastructure including servers, data/voice/wireless networks, end user computing, communication services and other supporting infrastructure. This includes building, configuring, optimizing, and securing all enterprise hardware and software systems. This position, which plays a critical role within the IT team, works closely with business peers, technology service providers, and the other members of the IT team bringing forward opportunities to leverage technology to better secure, support and grow the business.

Responsibilities

Application Support & Enhancements - 80%

• Responsible for day-to-day administration of servers, data/voice/wireless networks, communication systems, and other IT infrastructure. Monitors and performs required actions to ensure that system capacity, reliability, availability, and performance meets the established business requirements.

• Manages and maintains various IT technologies including Microsoft 365 (Email/Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive), Cisco switches, Fortinet firewalls, Meraki WAP’s, Sentinel One, Artic Wolf, KnowBe4, Active Directory, Veeam, VMWare, Azure and Hyper-V platforms.

• Monitors and ensures the successful completion of all system backups and restorations.

• Helps define hardware, software, and system specifications and requirements for all IT infrastructure projects. Completes all required installation, configuration, and testing activities.

• Monitors systems and networks to help prevent security breaches and/or unauthorized access to corporate computer systems. Conducts periodic reviews and system scans to help identify potential vulnerabilities. Completes the timely installation of required system patches/updates/service packs.

• Authors and updates technical system documentation including installation procedures, system configurations, operational run books, architecture diagrams, and other documents.

• Works directly with end users and other IT personnel on resolving technical issues/questions related to the Aramsco IT infrastructure.

• Accepts and works on assigned service desk tickets. Completes timely updates, transfers, escalations, and resolutions in Aramsco’s ticket management system. Provides timely status updates back to requester with appropriate resolution actions.

• Performs related activities to help quickly and seamlessly integrate newly acquired organizations into the Aramsco operations.

• Takes initiative and provides input on technology updates, recommendations, best practices, and risk analysis.

• Develops strong partnerships and can assess and develop strategies for achieving the needs of the user community.

• Seeks information about and identifies opportunities to enhance critical business functions and capabilities using technology.

• Ensures that deployed systems comply with all applicable legal, and fiduciary policies, practices, and requirements.

• Accurately prepares written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, and professional.

• Travel when necessary to new acquisitions for complete infrastructure migrations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree Required, preferably in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

•MCSA/MCSE, CCNA, COMP TIA Network + certification strongly desired
