Radford University Assistant Professor/Associate Professor, Marketing, Tenure Track in Radford, Virginia

Job Summary:

The Department of Marketing in the Davis College of Business and Economics at Radford University invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor) in Marketing, beginning in August 2025. The positions are subject to final authorization from the University. Requirements include an earned doctorate in Marketing (or a closely related field may be considered) from an AACSB -accredited College of Business ( ABD status in the final stage of degree completion will be considered for Assistant level). A strong interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching, evidence of research potential, and a capacity to support efforts to enhance the marketing curriculum are expected. Salary and benefits are competitive and depend on the finalist’s qualifications. The role of Department Chair is open. Interested faculty at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor in the Marketing Department may apply.

The Davis College of Business and Economics has a student body of approximately 900 undergraduates and approximately 100 graduate students ( MBA ). The Davis College of Business and Economics (https://www.radford.edu/cobe) is one of seven undergraduate colleges at RU, is accredited by AACSB at the undergraduate and graduate level ( MBA ) and is housed in a 110,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility. The Department of Marketing (https://www.radford.edu/marketing) offers the BBA in marketing and is comprised of faculty members, with doctorates from universities including CUNY—Baruch, Houston, South Florida, and West Virginia.

The city of Radford, Virginia is located in the heart of the New River Valley in Southwest Virginia. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the region is a haven for music lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Required Qualifications:

Requirements include an earned doctorate in Marketing (or a closely related field may be considered) from an AACSB -accredited College of Business ( ABD status in the final stage of degree completion will be considered for Assistant level).

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong interest in undergraduate and graduate teaching, evidence of research potential, and a capacity to support efforts to enhance the marketing curriculum are expected. A preference will be given for prior experience and/or interest in teaching courses related to Analytics, Sales, Digital and Social Media Marketing, and Supply-Chain issues in Marketing.
