R2Net is looking for an AR Manager to join our growing Accounting team, reporting to our Director of Financial Operations. As an AR Manager, you will support the Director of Financial Operations by managing all aspects of the account receivables workflow.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the AR team to complete all aspects of the receivables workflow in a high-volume environment including coaching and cross-training of staff

  • Works with senior leadership in recruiting, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing training for team members.

  • Daily supervision of multi-person team, timely and accurate posting in accounting system.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of AR month-end and year-end closing processes with ability to adjust to hard cutoffs around the close deadlines.

  • Ability to perform various reconciliations and continuously reviewing the company’s AR information to identify and resolve inaccuracies.

  • Ownership of the AR balances in the financial statements and ability to provide requested reports and analyses in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Identifying process improvements with current workflow and help automate any manual accounting or analysis with accounting software to perform and optimize AR workflow.

  • Be eager and able to adopt and implement new procedures to drive efficiency in the AR process.

  • Recommend optimization opportunities to the Finance Team as they relate to the accounts receivable process and ongoing training and development of Staff.

  • Ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in an AR Manager role

  • Experience in a high-volume retail or similar business, E-commerce highly preferred, with an emphasis on B2B and B2C AR experience

  • Must have a full understanding of the revenue cycle and will take a proactive, hands-on approach.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices.

  • Strong GL knowledge

  • Understanding of Revenue Accounting

  • Must have a sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and analyze a high volume of receivable activities.

  • Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels

  • Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLookups, etc.) is a must.

  • Strive for high performance and uses technical skills effectively with a demonstrated emphasis to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in an organized, detailed manner under limited time frames & tight deadlines.

    At this time, R2NET will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. Annual base pay: $110,000 - $120,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
