Job Description
Insight Global is looking to add a Plant Maintenance Technician to our team. This position supports plant operations by repairing and maintaining all equipment across the plant and performing maintenance functions throughout as assigned or directed by supervisory personnel, while working under limited supervision. Performing regular assigned checks, keeping logs up to date, conducting equipment repair, overhaul, and troubleshooting, ensuring proper start-up and shut-down of plant equipment, training other mechanical or production personnel, following safety procedures, and actively abiding by all company work, safety, and personal hygiene rules are essential responsibilities. Additionally, flexibility in working shifts, days of the week, and overtime as needed is part of the job. We are looking for collaborative, hard-working, and detail-oriented candidates!
Hourly pay rate is $25.74/hr with overtime opportunities.

Skills and Requirements
- Set-up and weld mild steel in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions with ARC welder.
- Properly use all basic hand tools, power hand tools, and shop tools (not to include machine tools).
- Set-up, weld, and cut with oxy-acetylene.
- Do basic plumbing runs and repairs.
- Be knowledgeable of basic mechanical nomenclature.
- Do basic sheet metal layout and fabrication.
- Have the ability and willingness to follow instructions.
- Be knowledgeable of proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques.
- Be knowledgeable of the potential hazards and safety procedures associated with the task being done.
- The proper use of Lockouts, safety procedures, and constant awareness of safety.
- Has completed a forklift training program. - Degree or certifications of any kind within the mechanical or food production/manufacturing space
- Experience working in an assembly line or production environment null
