Job Title: Product DesignerJob Description
As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely product designs using SolidWorks 3D software. Your tasks will include designing products based on customer specifications and/or custom quotes coming in from the field, designing new products, and implementing continuous design improvements of existing equipment. Furthermore, you will be expected to design with cost in mind and serve as a liaison between fabrication and assembly by resolving any issues that surface.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Quincy, Illinois.
Work Environment
The position is located in our corporate building in Quincy, part of a large product development team of about 70 people, including detailers, drafters, designers, project engineers, supervisors, and services support. The building is modern and spacious, housing about 3000 employees. It also serves as a manufacturing/assembly site. Onsite café options are available along with local options within driving distance. The dress code is business casual, with jeans being acceptable unless there is a big meeting or customers in. Our company has a family-oriented culture, having been in operation for over 150 years and boasting a very low turnover rate.
