UL, LLC Talent Acquisition Advisor-Lab and Operations in Queretaro, Mexico

This role is hybrid on-site at our Queretaro, MX laboratory.

As an Advisor within UL Solutions Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, you will support the full lifecycle recruitment process in partnership with hiring teams, HR and peers. You will focus on proactively sourcing innovative, collaborative and knowledgeable candidates our office in Mexico City and lab in Queretaro. You will be guiding candidates through our hiring process and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. You will be considered a subject matter expert for recruitment, candidate engagement and pipeline generation. This role will primarily drive recruitment for labs, operations and other functions as needed.

  • Works with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop knowledge of internal customer groups to effectively target recruitment efforts in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

  • Assists in the development of tailored recruitment strategies that address specific needs of each position.

  • Utilizes creative sourcing techniques to identify top active and passive talent for a variety of positions within the organization.

  • Manages full cycle recruitment process for candidates to include reviewing resumes and assessing applications, pre-screening, submitting candidates to hiring managers, preparing candidates for interviews and extending offers.

  • Ensures compliance by maintaining candidate activity in the Applicant Tracking System (Oracle Recruiting Cloud).

  • Acts as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by partnering by thoroughly understanding the technical skills and critical success factors.

  • Provides counsel on the talent market, hiring decisions and offer negotiations.

  • Stays up to date on the latest recruiting industry trends and tools and shares best practices with the HR team.

  • Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • University Degree (Equivalent to a bachelor's degree) in Human Resources Administration, Business Administration or a related discipline, plus generally 2-4 years of recruiting experience in a corporate environment or as an agency recruiter.

  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish

  • Proven ability to identify and recruit talent in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated success utilizing social networks pro-actively to source candidates.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience building relationships with employees at all levels of an organization.

  • Working knowledge of labor law and how it applies to interviewing, selection, recruitment, and placement.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple jobs, projects, and administrative duties simultaneously.
