Primary Purpose of Position:

The Regional Business Excellence Sr. Analyst will lead, coach, teach, and support Ball and Ball Global Shared Services employees by following and leveraging the Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile philosophies.

Essential Functions:

Relationship Management and Communication

  1. Establish and maintain effective work relationships with global CoE members, customers, and stakeholders

  2. Interact with others to create and maintain a positive, productive work environment, minimizing personal conflicts in a high-performance setting

  3. Deliver very good written and oral communication to understand stakeholder and customer needs, provide training, and solve complex problems

Collaboration and Partnership

  1. Partner with Ball and GSS capabilities, centers of excellence, leaders, individuals, customers, and stakeholders to measure and improve processes, data, and technology

  2. Identify and support any Business Excellence related needs at the assigned region and teams through strong collaboration, ideation, and productive work relationships

  3. Partner with the Business Excellence System team to follow and improve System processes, tools, methodologies, roles, documents, and behaviors

System Implementation and Operation

  1. Serve as a trusted expert and advisor on the GSS Business Excellence System processes, tools, methodologies, documents, roles, and behaviors

  2. Understand, promote, and teach the GSS Business Excellence System within the GSS and Ball

Process, Data, and Technology Improvement

  1. Research industry benchmarks and recommend process, data, and technology improvements

  2. Analyze Key Result Indicators (KRIs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Behavior Indicators (KBIs), and metrics to develop conclusions that sustain and improve processes, data, and technology

  3. Handle and navigate complexity to understand, evaluate, and improve processes, data, and technology

  4. Perform efficient and effective use of the GSS Business Excellence System tools that follow the Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile philosophies

  5. Analyze and understand customer experience indicators to identify continuous improvement initiatives

  6. Support and encourage effective standardization of processes, data, and technology, including documentation

  7. Identify and lead viable opportunities for automation through process engineering to remove waste and variability

  8. Deliver tangible and intangible benefits that include soft savings, hard savings, efficiency gains, employee engagement, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, and sustainability improvement

Technical Expertise

  1. Understand and apply Automation (RPA/Workflows/Scripts/Process Mining/IA) low and medium complexity development practices

  2. Understand and apply Analytics (Dashboards/Data Visualization/Data Analysis) low and medium complexity development practices

  3. Understand and apply intermediate statistics to transform data into information useful to improve processes, data, and technology

  4. Gathering systems requirements through basic knowledge

Training and Certification

  1. Train and certify Ball employees with proficiency in native and, non-native languages in the GSS Business Excellence System processes, tools, methodologies, documents, roles, and behaviors

Leadership and Coaching

  1. Influence the environment to sustain a steady flow of successful Continuous Improvement initiatives with low, and medium impact that are led or coached

Time and Project Management

  1. Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a global environment

  2. Manage deterministic and non-deterministic initiatives aimed to improve processes, data, and technology, while completing the required deliverables and following a methodical approach

Position Requirements:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Job-related experience for 4+ years (s) minimum

  • English Level: B2

  • Certifications/Licenses/Other: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

  • Advanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Design Thinking, Systems Thinking, and Customer Experience tools, processes, methodologies, and principles.

  • Advanced level of MS Excel (Including VBA) and MS PowerPoint

  • Advanced level of LucidChart and LucidSpark (Charting and Whiteboarding)

  • Intermediate level of Minitab

  • Entry level of MS SharePoint

  • Desired experience with BI tools: Tableau, QlikSense, PowerBI, etc

  • Desired experience with ERP: SAP, JD Edwards.

  • Desired knowledge/usage of the following software:

  • Ui Path Task Capture

  • Ui Path Robotic Process Automation

  • Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps

  • Microsoft Office Script Online MS Excel

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills

  • Strong listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

  • Collaborative team player, operational and execution skills

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and to take action on it

  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail

  • Ability to apply time management skills including prioritization and expectation management to accomplish all tasks in an acceptable timeframe
