Red Hat Senior Technical Program Manager - Billingual French and English in Quebec

About The Job

The Red Hat Consulting Services team is looking for a bilingual, senior-level Program Manager with transformational services engagement experience to join us in Québec. In this role, you will work within a designated account and collaborate with the account sales executive, services manager, services technical team, and other Red Hat teams to promote superior delivery and total customer success through Red Hat consulting, products, and adoption. The Program Manager is responsible for driving and executing on Red Hat Services and you will be focused on the successful delivery and execution of Red Hat Consulting engagements. You will be expected to provide an intense level of program governance to a strategic account to ensure complete delivery success. The customer is embarking on a multi-solution, multi-phased, multi-year journey with Red Hat and that complexity requires significant programmatic ownership. The solutions you will oversee will focus primarily on digital transformation and emerging technologies. You will quickly understand the customer’s goals, mission and politics and collaboration with multiple business units within Red Hat, inclusive of sales and support teams, is a key to success within this role.

What You Will Do

• Provide executive-level governance to account

• Work with Project Managers to frame and develop successful cross-functional teams and workstreams

• Collaborate with product owners to understand and create product backlog and release plan

• Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks and resolve issues

• Accountable for team metrics, including sprint backlog, burn-down charts (capacity, load, velocity), and release planning

• Maintain exemplar level of professionalism when problem solving and guiding issues to closure

• Develop foundational knowledge and maintain an awareness of emerging Red Hat technologies

• Point of contact for executive stakeholders for the client and for Red Hat

• Executive level ownership, communication, and accountability to all external and internal stakeholders

• Detailed management and reporting of account through Red Hat tools

• Risk and Quality Control for client and Red Hat preparedness

• Support customer’s internal marketing, business outcomes, roadmap, and overall vision

• Strategize and act on delivery practice evolution in accordance with scale of business

• Navigate and proactively own escalation procedures to push an issue to closure

• Facilitate the end-to-end execution of Red Hat Consulting within account

• Understand Red Hat and customer procurement processes

• Provide sales and scoping support to customer; driving Red Hat Consulting revenue

• Attend and/or host regular meetings with customers to build relationships through on-site meetings and events

What You Will Bring

• 5+ years of relevant program and project management experience

• Bilingual in English and French; outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey complex information to customers clearly and concisely in both languages

• Experience in leading digital transformation projects where technology and organizational change go hand in hand to deliver long term sustainability

• Client interaction and customer service experience and strong customer-facing skills with senior level executives

• Experience managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Strong organizational skills and exceptional presentation skills with knowledge of and experience with virtual delivery platforms

• Ability to clearly and effectively present information, demonstrate procedures, and respond to questions in public setting

• Capacity to interact with customers and colleagues on different hierarchical levels using good persuasion skills

• Ability to engage management-level decision makers and influencers

• Ability to synthesize and analyze complex data to identify potential risks and draw meaningful conclusions

• Proactive project management mindset with a bias for action

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and collaborative environment

• Ability to work with many sales channels and routes to market

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent in a technology-related discipline

• Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques; PMP is a plus

• Consulting delivery or sales experience is a plus

• Ability to travel for client meetings and attend events - up to 25%
