Responsibilities You will ensure the assigned human resources management activities of NCIS are conducted in compliance with laws and regulations governing the management of civilian employees. You will oversee the work of the HR Information Systems (HRIS) team, advise them on data integrity issues, collaborates with manpower and DoD HRIS specialists. You will seek opportunities to improve individual and organizational performance through process changes and/or employee training. You will recommend changes to personnel assignments to enhance efficiency and to improve timeliness and quality of performance. You will prepare regular performance reports and publish data through a stop-light and/or other reporting format. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing expert program management in a broad variety of Human Resources (HR) functional areas including policy, direction, and managerial issues. Experience overseeing the daily operations of HR services for an organization. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Several vacancies may be filled.
