U.S. Marine Corps SEXUAL ASSAULT PROGRAM ASSISTANT (OA) in Quantico, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a Sexual Assault Program Assistant (OA) in the Office of the Commander of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. Responsibilities You will assist in meeting training requirements, scheduling, coordinating and preparing materials for all sexual assault prevention training events. You will assist in meeting program management requirements of coordinating inspections and DoD agency visits and sustaining an ongoing policy awareness campaign. You will compile and summarize information from documents and resources according to selective criteria. You will locate and reserve training sites, coordinate audio/video support and equipment, and ensure all class and training materials are present; print, assemble and prepare all training and briefing materials. You will coordinate technical support for the maintenance of the Marine Corps Base (MCB) Quantico Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Support Line. You will serve as SAPR office property manager and submit required documents to obtain office furniture and property. You will maintain the MCB Quantico SAPR website and provide updates to the webmaster as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-08: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing assistance establishing internal procedures and administrative support controls to facilitate support services; 2) Performing office routines and clerical procedures to include receiving and referring telephone calls or visitors from emotionally distraught individuals, supply services, maintenance support, and file administrations; 3) Utilizing automated software to draft correspondence regarding victim support services and to compose statistical reports for review by senior leadership; and 4) Coordinating with internal and external agencies. For GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing assistance establishing internal procedures and administrative support controls to facilitate support services; 2) Performing office routines and clerical procedures to include receiving and referring telephone calls or visitors from emotionally distraught individuals, supply services, maintenance support, and file administrations; and 3) Utilizing automated software to draft correspondence regarding victim support services and to compose statistical reports for review by senior leadership. Education Additional Information This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. This position requires rotating shift work.
