TAD PGS, Inc. Senior Enterprise Architect in Quantico, Virginia

Join us as an Enterprise Architect (Senior) and play a critical role in driving innovation and efficiency for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency. In this role, you will lead the development of scalable, secure, and future-ready architecture solutions that align with mission-critical objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence IT strategies and deliver impactful results in a dynamic environment. This role is on site in Quantico, VA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide IT architectures, ensuring scalability, interoperability, and security.
Develop and refine the organization's baseline and target architecture to align with strategic and operational goals.
Identify design gaps in existing systems and propose enhancements to optimize performance and compliance.
Collaborate with technical teams to guide the integration of systems, data, and applications across a hybrid IT environment.
Ensure adherence to federal regulations, cybersecurity standards, and best practices in all architecture designs.
Oversee cloud migration efforts, integrating cloud-based and on-premises solutions to meet the agency's mission.
Conduct impact assessments for new technologies and recommend solutions to advance system capabilities.
Provide comprehensive documentation of architecture models, system designs, and operational workflows for stakeholders.
Required Skills / Experience:
Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DoDAF, or Zachman.
Proficiency in designing and managing hybrid IT environments, including AWS, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with system integration, data architecture, and cybersecurity compliance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Desired Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise architecture, IT infrastructure, or large-scale system design.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (substitution: certifications or equivalent experience).
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF.
Experience supporting enterprise IT systems for a Federal Law Enforcement Agency or other government organizations.
Familiarity with IT modernization initiatives, cloud migration strategies, and the development of hybrid cloud architectures.
Knowledge of IT service management tools and platforms like Atlassian, ServiceNow, or Ivanti
