News Corp Australia Commercial Analyst in QLD, Australia
What’s the role?
Reporting to the GM Commercial - Supply Chain, this role will have a wide range of responsibilities across a broad operational function.
Working in a small, high performing, commercial minded team, this role will support the supply chain, property and procurement divisions through data validation and analysis, workflow and systems evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, organise and analyse data related to supply chain operations, including logistics, property facilities and procurement to identify patterns, correlations and opportunities for improvement.
Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for optimisation, leveraging process mapping and workflow analysis techniques.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project scope and prioritise initiatives to meet business objectives
Develop and maintain reports, Power BI dashboards and KPIs to track operational metrics, monitor performance and provide insights to stakeholders.

Strong analytical thinker with data-driven approach and problem solving mindset
Refined interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self motivated, positive, proactive, collaborative and inquisitive
Have drive to achieve goals and work across a variety of systems and projects to achieve team outcomes
Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
Proven 2+ years experience in a similar role using the skills outlined
