Summary This position is located at the Camp Humphreys Downtown Lanes Bowling Center. Responsibilities Collects sales slips, total sales on cash register, accepts payment from patrons and makes change as necessary. Maintains related cash records. Presents bill and receives payment. Sets up food service counters and steam tables. Prepares coffee and hot water, fills beverage dispensers. Sets tables, seats guests, records guests' selections and turns in orders to the kitchen. Serves food, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Portions out food, cleans and prepares meats and seafood for cooking. Checks food during cooking to prevent overcooking. Prepares sandwiches and box lunches. Washes dishes, pots and pans. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Clean floors, walls and windows in kitchen, dining and storage areas. Able to work alone. Know the proper use of special cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Know simple food handling techniques. Empties trash, cleans and sanitizes containers. Unloads trucks and places contents in proper storage and use areas, brings supplies to work areas. Able to work safely. Able to serve uniform individual portions and avoid distractions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications 1. Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. The minimum serving age at this facility is 21 years old. 2. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds. 3. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. 4. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and/or nonalcoholic beverages. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Foreign Overseas Allowances Foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
