Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Customer Service Representative in Puyallup, Washington

Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to fill this position located in either our Dixon, CA or Puyallup, WA offices.

Postion Summary:

Our Dixon, CA or Puyallup, WA Insulfoam plant is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative to support our team. This position is responsible for managing the customer order process from initial customer request for pricing and presentation of the pricing quote through receipt of the customer service order and entry into the order management system (SAP). This position will also act as a conduit between customer and the functional groups on any changes to product or shipping schedule prior to customer receipt of product. The individual in this position will be expected to form strong relationships with customers, helping to identify solutions that will benefit both the customer and the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles all customer service requests, managing customer orders from placement through shipment, providing accurate lead times and verifying prices, credit memos, and return merchandize authorization (RMA).
  • Assist the Sales Team in communication with customers for quote request/follow up, sample/literature requests and various administrative tasks.
  • Manages and documents customer issues and act as a primary point of contact for resolution.
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations and prepare and present quote to customer in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a network of appropriate contacts within the various Departments, such as Shipping, Purchasing, Production, etc. as well as external venders.
  • Identifies opportunities to benefit the customer and the company.
  • Understands products applications and works with the customer to identify the best solutions for the project requirement.
  • Responsible for relaying phone/email corre spondence from customers to the appropriate territory representative.

Working Conditions:

  • Office Environment with standard office equipment
  • Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM
  • Limited travel is required

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Three years of customer service experience.
  • Associates degree is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of products applications.
