Red Hat Manager - Solutions Architecture Team (Puteaux Office, France) in Puteaux, France

The Red Hat Solutions Architecture team is looking for a Solutions Architect Manager to join us in Puteaux, France. In this role, you will manage a team of Enterprise account solutions architects responsible for positioning Red Hat’s solutions and services to our customers and partners. You'll collaborate with sales management as well as the Consulting, Engineering, and Support teams to meet the outlined company sales objectives. You'll assist your team in developing and delivering business-facing messaging on technical subjects and drive business outcomes.

This is an office based position in Puteaux, with frequent travels to customer sites.

What you will do

  • Lead the Account Solutions Architecture team to support Red Hat's sales efforts

  • Support the sales team with recommendations to develop and implement complex solutions to achieve sales quotas

  • Work with the regional Solutions Architect Management team to support and implement a common strategy for solutions architects in designated verticals

  • Be responsible for hiring, growth plan, talent management and evaluation

  • Manage solutions architect alignments to support sales

  • Focus constantly on improvement and enablement of solutions architects

  • Spend time in the territory with the Sales teams

  • Support and Contribute to marketing activities (Events, conferences, user groups, thought leadership on social networks...)

What you will bring

  • 5+ years of experience, including a significant time working as a manager and a solutions architect with demonstrated pre-sales experience

  • Ability to animate a team of Senior solution architects, create a positive and collaborative working atmosphere

  • Define and set a team strategy with associated KPI

  • Sales-minded with excellent customer business skills and experience with enterprise accounts

  • Ability to interpret customer business and technical needs

  • Extensive technical background, including but not limited to (containers, automation, Middleware, Hybrid Cloud, devsecops, AI/ML...)

  • Ideally, knowledge and understanding of Open Source development models

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and documentation skills; fluency in both French and English

  • Record of developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprise IT organizations

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of your time
