Park Hotel Front Desk Associate in Put-in-Bay, Ohio
Position Title: Front Desk Associate Reports To: General Manager and Front Desk Supervisor Location: Park Hotel, 234 Delaware St, Put-in-Bay, Ohio 43456 Position Type: Seasonal (April 15 to October 31, 2024) About Us: Park Hotel & Bay Club Cottages are nestled in the heart of Put-in-Bay, Ohio, an island famed for its vibrant community and picturesque views. Job Summary: The Front Desk Associate is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, providing exceptional customer service, and handling various administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring our guests' stay is comfortable, enjoyable, and seamless from check-in to check-out. Key Responsibilities: ? Greet guests warmly and perform check-in and check-out processes efficiently. ? Manage reservations through our property management software, including handling modifications, cancellations, and special requests. ? Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. ? Oversee golf cart rentals, including management, returns, and ensuring they are parked and locked correctly. ? Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. ? Process financial transactions and perform daily cash drops. ? Support guest inquiries, providing outstanding service to enhance their stay experience. Qualifications: ? Strong commitment to excellent customer service and guest satisfaction . ? Effective communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. ? Experience with property management software is preferred. ? Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. ? Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is advantageous. Housing and Employment Details: ? Seasonal employment from April 15 to October 31, 2024. ? Housing available. Dorm-style accommodations within walking distance of the hotel. ? Guaranteed 32 hours per week, with potential for 40 hours most weeks. Overtime compensated for any hours over 40. ? Required to work weekends and holidays due to the seasonal nature of the job. Compensation: ? Hourly wage of $15/hour. ? Opportunity for an end-of-season bonus based on performance and contract fulfillment.
