Position: Front Desk Associate (Midnight Shift) Reports To: Front Desk Supervisor and General Manager Location: Park Hotel, 234 Delaware St, Put-in-Bay, Ohio 43456 Position Type: Seasonal (April 15 to October 31, 2024) Summary: Park Hotel & Bay Club Cottages invites a dedicated Front Desk Associate for the Midnight Shift to join our team for the 2024 season. Situated at the forefront of guest interaction, the role is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation of the front desk during overnight hours. Responsibilities include guest check-ins, managing reservations, handling guest inquiries, and preparing morning setups. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance guest experience while ensuring the smooth operation of hotel activities at night. Key Responsibilities: ? Manage the front desk operations throughout the night, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly and courteously. ? Check in late arrivals and assist with early check-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for guests. ? Handle guest queries and provide responsive service to ensure guest satisfaction. ? Oversee and assist with laundry duties as required to maintain linen supply. ? Restock snacks and drinks area, and prepare coffee and pastries for the morning service. ? Maintain accurate records of nightly activities and report any issues to management promptly. ? Ensure security protocols are followed, monitoring hotel premises during the night. Qualifications: ? Strong customer service orientation with the ability to interact positively with guests. ? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. ?Good communication skills and a professional demeanor. ? Experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred. ? Willingness to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: ? Must be able to stand for extended periods and manage multiple tasks effectively. ? Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Salary and Compensation: ? Hourly wage: $17/hour. ? Opportunity for an end-of-season bonus based on performance and adherence to contract terms.
