Emerson Sourcing Analyst and Project Procurement Buyer in PUNE, India
Job Summary
Manage Project Procure-to-Pay cycle of 3 rd party Goods and Services for the organization (SYSS), ensuring that you are optimizing the cost, payment terms, quality and service. You'll drive added customer value through strategic sourcing, value engineering, negotiations, innovation, and risk management.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Collaborate with Finance to complete annual product lines costing through cost roll up activity for SDC/CDC (in Oracle)
Provides sourcing expertise through RFQ , T&C and supplier agreement
Work with Order Fulfilment, Planning, and other Category Management Teams on the set-up/activation of new item in business
Maintenance of supplier business database and item part parameters in business system
Review and analyze supply/demand with tactical procurement if there is end-of-life product/item, and request Product Database update the system to "Phase-out" status.
Ensure security of supply, risk management, supplier consolidation, and optimization of the supply base.
Analyze spend and drives strategy to achieve cost savings.
Manage "Request for Effective Action" with Engineering for the end-of-life manufacturing part number (MPN).
Identify profitable suppliers and initiate partnership to meet Emerson business requirements, expectations and goals
Conduct business review quarterly discussing annual spend, on time delivery performance and highlight & lowlights.
Performs market or data analysis to define a strategy for market engagement.
Any other task as required by the business
Issue Purchase order in conformance to agreed T&C’s and project requirements
Receive acknowledgement, Expedite and other activities per project procedures
Coordinate with logistics, receiving and inspection of goods as required
Support overall suppliers' evaluation in terms of overall procurement performance
Perform any other ad-hoc procurement task as required.
Support by backfilling on roles as required based on workload/ resource capacity limitations demand
Perform regulations and compliance analysis
Adherence to the relevant ISO Procurement procedure of the FSO
Ensure compliance to Emerson Record Retention and Emerson’s Ethics Policies at all times

Proficient in a range of Supply Chain approaches and standard processes
Demonstrated the ability to perform competitive exercises
Demonstrated abilities in ERP based systems such as Oracle, SAP etc. (Oracle preferred)
Show leadership skills
Ability to influence various members of the organization
Negotiation and usage of tools like E-sourcing
Techno-savvy
Excellent professional written and verbal English skills required, special language skills whenever specified
Dynamic and proactive
Proven track record to work in multicultural virtual environment and lead/ coordinate activities for offices located throughout the worl
Good interpersonal skills

Being multilingual in principal global languages may be beneficial
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- A Graduate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering is necessary. A Master's degree or equivalent experience in management, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field is preferred.
