Emerson Senior/Lead System Software Engineer (.NET core/Microservices) in PUNE, India
Job Summary
Responsible for Web Application Development of Rosemount Level Measurement Products. This position includes design and architecture of software features, working with designers and product managers to understand the features, and implementation of both the client-side (front-end) and server-side (back-end)
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Capture & Develop Software Requirements
Prepare Software Design and Architecture for projects
Develop high level and low-level design for assigned projects
Liaison with User Experience designers for frontend development
Design and Implementation of scalable Microservices.
Participate & Contribute to Code Reviews
Develop and Unit Test Web based Applications
Collaborate and coordinate with developers, testers, and product owners
Focused on continuous improvement of quality-driven software techniques and Process
Participate & present in project reviews
Willingness to work flexible hours that works best with the local and remote engineering
Who You Are:
B.E/B. Tech or M. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics
Should have minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Software Design, Development & Maintenance
For This Role, You Will Need:
Have minimum 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in .Net Core, C#.Net, ASP.Net MVC
Strong experience in frontend development using HTML5/CSS, Bootstrap, REACT JS, Vue JS, JavaScript/Typescripts
Working Knowledge of SQL or SQLite Database and Stored procedures
Experience in Microservices based architecture, design philosophies
Proficiency with both adaptive and responsive designs
Design and Implementation of RESTful APIs and understanding of OAuth 2.0
Hands-on working experience on Docker, Container networking & Kubernetes
Experience with application deployment using CI/CD in DevOps environment like Jenkins, Azure
Experience in developing applications on Windows & Linux OS platforms
Experience in using any static & dynamic code analysis toll would be preferred
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Working Knowledge on Communication Protocol development like OPC UA, Modbus, TCP/IP
Experience in Cyber Security Verification tools, e.g., CIS-CAT Pro
Experience in Cyber Security SDLC (Secure Coding)
Experience in Developing Applications using TCP/IP Socket Programming, Serial Communication
Experience using Azure DevOps for planning & CI/CD environment
Experience using Scrum methodology
