Title and Summary

Manager, Product Management

1- Overview

Mastercard is a network of banks linked together in real time globally. The common point that makes all of this work is the exchange of data in agreed formats. This role is to define and maintain those messages.

2- Role

The maintenance of messaging specifications, mapping ISO 8583 messages to ISO 20022 ATICA and providing supporting documentation for Engineering. There will also be ad-hoc queries and tool maintenance to undertake.

3- All About You

You will be highly experienced in ISO 8583 and have an initial understanding of ISO 20022 ATICA. You will also have practical experience in the application of messaging to card programmes and participants, such as Acquirers and Issuers. Mastercard specific experience is an advantage but any international or domestic card payment experience is helpful.

You will have likely worked for a bank or consultancy that onboards client such as merchants or been a business analyst or analyst/developer working with card processing systems. It is not necessary for you to have had practical experience of ISO 20022 ATICA but you should be able to explain what it is. You will have also worked to deadlines in a project based environment, be it implementation projects or development work.

You will be good at attention to detail, patient in understanding new technologies and capable of working in an agile team environment across different time zones.
