Overview

The Network Engineering team is looking for a Manager Network Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate would be passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, dynamic & experienced network professional to work on design, implementation, and security of large multi-site, robust multi-vendor network environments.

Role

•Manage and participate in implementation of network projects across domains.

•Partners with design team and platforms teams, ensuring implementing network designs up to their requirements for upgrading existing corporate and Datacenter networks, as well as re-architecting network segments to facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth.

•Resolves network communications and operations problems impacting customer or backbone access and performance globally.

•Research and develop innovative solutions around unified network solutions.

•Supports assigned regional projects, which include responsibility for planning; time and cost control; resource utilization and implementation.

•Lead a major work stream or multiple smaller work streams for a large network domain initiative, often providing technical guidance and advice to project team members

*Engaging with the broader technical community to anticipate developments in innovation, often evaluating new solutions and recommending future business network requirements

All About You

Education:

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Industry leading certification (CCNP, CCIE, Arista, etc) desirable but not compulsory

Knowledge / Experience:

•10-15+ Years IT experience in the following areas:

• Networking, including LAN/WAN - Firewalls - wireless - Security and encryption technologies

•Experience with TCP/IP protocol communications.

•Broad/Hands on knowledge across Leading Network Vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba, Arista & Checkpoint.

•Experience with Design - HLD/LLD is desirable

•Broad knowledge of Project Management methodology and best practices.

•Knowledge of Network technologies, BGP, DMVPN, VPN, SSH, MPLS, SD-WAN, Spine/Leaf, ACI technologies.

•Strong command on Datacenter Network technologies

•Skills and knowledge on network automation/scripting desirable.

•Inclusive of Relevant 4+ Years experience in people management and vendor management:

Skills/ Abilities:

•Strong verbal and written communications skills.

•Self-starter with demonstrated listening skills.

•Serves as a mentor to lower-level employees and lead others and use good judgment.

•Limited supervision; work may be reviewed for direction and strategy.

•Team player and equally strong people management skills.

Working condition

•May require occasional local/domestic travel within country

•Should be open to working occasional weekends/weeknights for planned work.
