Lead QA Automation Analyst

As Nuvolo’s Lead QA Automation Analyst , you will be responsible for executing functional and regression test cases within specified test environments with a high degree of accuracy.

As a Lead QA Automation Analyst , your role will include:

• Defines Automation requirements/objectives. Sets milestones for the team matching the Company's objectives

• Responsible for Defining QA automation strategy for one or more , approach and execution in development projects.

• Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance.

• Be accountable for the test automation projects, mentor, and provide leadership to the QA automation developers and Leads.

• Participate in interviews, induction, training and performance evaluation of all QA leads.

• Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation.

• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards.

• Ensure the proper usage of available tools to gain the maximum benefit of the QA effort. This includes testing tools for functional, performance, automation, etc.

• Manage training and continuous learning of QA staff by means of short courses, conferences, meetups, certifications, etc.

• Driving and improving the QA team in areas of automated testing and agile testing.

• Provide technical expertise in Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools and Techniques across the teams.

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in QA and software development to continually enhance our QA capabilities.

• Define and track key QA metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements

This role could be a fit for you if you bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, mathematics or a related area.

• 8+ years experience in software development life cycle and software testing experience. Agile/Scrum is a plus.

• 3+ years of experience with Mobile Testing using real devices and simulator.

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes with the ability to analyse and elaborate on requirements.

• Good understanding of SQL, HTML, CSS, Java, XML, HTTP protocol, browser debugging tools, and testing RESTful microservices with Postman.

• Experienced in using various bug tracking, source control, and build release tools, like JIRA, GIT, Jenkins, BitBucket etc.

• 6+ years of experience in Test automation development experience using Selenium and Java or related coding languages to create scripts for both functional and GUI. Cucumber experience is a plus.

• Expertise is writing locators with xpath, css selector is a must.

• Self-starter with a willingness and ability to fully own functional areas under test with minimal supervision.

• Extremely skilled at troubleshooting and problem solving to support the team.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Organized and process-oriented, with the ability to maintain excellent process/testing/build release documentation and reports.

• Ability to adapt and willingness to learn new technology or techniques.

• Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.

• Experienced in coordinating with third-party testing tools.

• Experience in leading a team of engineers on real time projects.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with JavaScript is a plus

• Experience with ServiceNow is preferred
