AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Project Manager.

AGCO Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytics & AI Project Manager to lead Advanced Analytics and Generative AI initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science or data analysis, coupled with proven experience in project management. This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure the successful delivery of analytics projects on time and within scope, while fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. As an Analytics & AI Project Manager at AGCO Corporation, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to execution, monitoring, and final delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project goals, develop detailed project plans, and allocate resources effectively. Your ability to manage timelines and risks will be crucial in ensuring that projects are completed successfully and meet the desired outcomes. In this role, you will also focus on delivery excellence, ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and are aligned with AGCO’s business objectives. You will implement best practices in project management and analytics, driving continuous improvement in processes and methodologies. Your proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks will be key to maintaining project momentum and achieving successful outcomes.

Your Impact

  • Project Ownership: Take full ownership of analytics project delivery, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

  • On-time Delivery: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and incorporating feedback into project plans.

  • Technical Expertise: Leverage prior experience as a data scientist or data analyst to guide the team in developing robust and scalable analytics solutions.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all analytics deliverables through rigorous testing and validation processes.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

  • Continuous Improvement: Promote best practices in project management and analytics, driving continuous improvement in processes and methods

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in engineering, Economics, Business disciplines or equivalent work experience.

  • 8+ relevant years of working experience in automotive, heavy machinery, agriculture machinery, FMCG, B2C or similar industry

  • Minimum 3 years of end-to-end Analytics/ Data Science implementation and associated experience is mandatory

  • Fluent in the English language, oral and written, is essential; other languages are an advantage
