Role Summary/Purpose:

The Assistant Engineer – NDT Aviation is responsible for establishing and continually improving customer satisfaction as per NADCAP , AS9100D, & relevant customer & regulatory approval norms. The employee will be responsible for NDT inspection operations which include addressing the key Quality deliverables in the COE including day to day process operations, Issue Resolutions , Production Alignment & Personnel skill development.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work closely with quality & production HPT teams and demonstrate accountability for the key business deliverables.

  • Ensure that the Production line & products meet quality & compliance requirements.

  • Coordinate with Quality & Line Leaders to discuss and resolve product quality issues.

  • Physical inspection of production hardware per NAS 410 /Customer norms

  • Assist in new product development activities to avoid quality issues.

  • Coordinate AS / NADCAP & other relevant audits.

  • Work with leadership to improve quality management system based on audit results.

  • Extend cross functional availability & support to internal quality teams

  • Support operations across shifts in NDT / Quality functions.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Highest Levels of Personal Integrity and Safety Mindset.

  • Diploma in engineering

  • 3-5 Years of Experience in aerospace / aviation Engineering industry is a must

  • Working knowledge of Aerospace Prime requirements along with NADCAP.

  • NAS 410 IN NDT X-Ray is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of AS9100 & Aerospace Regulatory requirements
