There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Supplier interface for Purchase order, forecast & shipment related activities.
Timely communication & projecting visibility to all stakeholders about critical parts, stock out conditions with the help of continuous engagement with internal & external stakeholders by means of available tools.
Development of digital tools for clear visibility, real time updates and to enable process simplification.
Predictive analysis on long term window on critical parts to engine assembly.
Inventory tracking, profiling & obsolete inventory mapping & reduction actions.
Management of material master data for buy parts/OSP items.
Execute pickups for import & local shipment from suppliers in coordination with logistics and ensuring alignment in-line with PO schedule to eliminate any stock out risk.
Implement relevant & effective purchase strategies for improving the supplier delivery performance.
Be focal for executing return to vendor transactions in coordination with supplier quality.
Collaborate with sourcing, program management for new part development activities to meet program timelines.
Process documentation and updates.
Monitor supplier delivery performance & drive improvement actions.
Coordinate with customs and logistic to have smooth imports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college with 3+ years of experience in relevant industry fulfilment/planning function.
Relevant experience of 3+ years in material fulfilment/buying/procurement
