Job Description

The ideal candidate will have Financial Services experience as well as background in dealing with Capital market data across various line of business. Experience in implementing data solutions and Knowledge of big data platform will be a significant advantage. The candidate will work closely with the product owner, other Business Analysts, Internal technology teams, and core developers. Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills are essential in order to be successful in this role.

The Technology Business Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team.

Responsibilities:

Ability to Analyze Capital market data and requirements , identify disparate data sources required for consolidation.

Document functional specifications and coordinate delivery of the same with technology team.

Design logical and conceptual wholesale loans data model to meet business requirements.

Work with the stakeholders to understand and gather requirements and produce business specifications, functional design and associated documentation.

Validate solution implementations and ensure they meet business and functional requirements.

Ensure adherence to and develop best practices supporting Citi’s Project Management Standards

Ensure the business reporting needs are met with the most elegant and timely technology solutions

Ensure proper development life cycle is followed with artefacts to support Internal Audit and any inquiries

Provide production deployment support, and investigate data quality issues.

Work with various technology leads to ensure the gaps in the data completeness or accuracy are bridged.

Qualifications:

Business/ data analysis experience in financial industry

Subject matter expertise in financial industry – capital market/banking

Experience with database and SQL is required

Experience in python will be an added advantage

Excellent documentation, analytical and process-based skills to produce process flow diagrams, business modelling, and functional design.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis

Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle, Agile methodology

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of business analysis

Knowledge of Big Data platform is a huge plus

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience

• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications

• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects

• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods

• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
