Join Pitney Bowes as Advisory Support Engineer

Impact

As an Advisory Support Engineer, you are a technology enthusiast who enjoys working with Configure, Price, Quote tools and package technologies. You are confident, collaborative, and able to drive cross-functional teams as you directly contribute to Pitney Bowes’ success. As the techno-functional point person, you will be responsible for systems support of critical platforms.

The Job

  • Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure optimal application availability.

  • Work closely with end-users and stakeholders to quickly analyze problems and resolve system issues.

  • Manage business and non-business impacting outages and conduct the ensuing root cause analysis.

  • Lead and/or support application upgrades, patches, and testing.

  • Drive system and process improvements to achieve operational excellence.

  • Proactively identify automation opportunities with a strong focus on data quality and operational support.

  • Be keen to learn new technologies and products and grow your career with the PB team.

  • Provide on-call 24x7 support when required.

Qualifications & Skills Required

The role requires a talented, self-directed, and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • A positive, can-do attitude.

  • Quick learner, result-oriented, proactive, and ready to take ownership of work.

  • Comfortable operating on both a functional and a technical level.

  • At least 6-8 years of experience working in a relevant field.

  • Knowledge of web technologies and database concepts.

  • Experience with REST API, web services programming, and tools like SOAP UI, POSTMAN REST, and SQL queries.

  • Proven track record of supporting, enhancing, and working across multiple applications.

  • Experience with SFDC Revenue Cloud (Configuration, Apex and Visualforce/LWC)

  • Experience with IBM Sterling CPQ

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.

  • Familiarity with work management solutions like Atlassian and Confluence.

  • Experience with e-signature platforms (AdobeSign).
