PICOL Support Specialist (Staff) Available Title(s): 107I-YNCSNPS - Program Specialist 2 Business Title: PICOL Support Specialist (Staff) Employee Type: Classified Time Type: Full time Position Term: 12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: Under the guidance of the Pesticide Resources and Education Program leadership, the Pesticide Resources and Education Program PICOL Database Support Specialist will support and manage high-volume file management and data entry into the Pesticide Information Center Online (PICOL). The position will support the administrative operations of the WSU Pesticide Resources and Education Program in Pullman, Washington. This role will develop and manage relationships between Pesticide Resources and Education Program's Pullman and Puyallup team members, clientele, and pesticide regulatory agencies. Required Qualifications: • A Bachelor's degree OR equivalent education/experience. • WSDA Pesticide License must be obtained within the first six (6) months of hire. • Experience working with records management • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Organization and time management skills. • Attention to detail. • Flexibility to adjust to multiple priorities. • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency with standard office software. Those with a start date before July 1, 2024 will receive a 3% salary increase effective July 1, 2024. Those with a start date of July 1, 2024 or later, will receive a salary offer inclusive of the 3% increase to the salary range.
